R-JUNIOR SEASON (2014): Played 411 snaps in all 14 games for C-USA Championship team, splitting time at nose tackle with starter Jarquez Samuel … Made 35 tackles (nine solos), including 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks … Had career-best game in then-unbeaten Herd’s crucial Nov. 22 win at UAB, making 11 tackles (three solo, eight assists) with a half-sack … Also recorded sack in opening win at Miami (Ohio) … Posted six tackles in Herd’s C-USA Championship Game win over Louisiana Tech.
