SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014): Finished tied with fellow safety AJ Leggett for seventh on team in tackles with 63, including 38 solos … Had 2.5 tackles for loss and recovered a fumble (Akron) … Played 556 snaps in 12 games, starting three (Rhode Island, Ohio, Akron) … Made second career interception in Marshall’s Week 4 romp at Akron … Had seven passes defended on the season … Career-high 10 tackles in victory over Ohio, and had second straight big bowl performance, with nine in Boca Raton Bowl win over Northern Illinois (after eight solos the previous year in Military Bowl).
