Herd Offensive Line Can Weather More than First Day

The Word on the Herd-March 26, 2013

R-JUNIOR SEASON (2014): Played in 12 of 14 games, including final 11 (missing Miami of Ohio and Ohio) … Had work on offensive line in 10 games, with 138 snaps, with three knockdowns … Backup primarily at guard, but considered among most versatile of Herd offensive linemen … Played 68 snaps at right guard in win at UAB (Nov. 22) … Placed on scholarship prior to August camp.

R-SOPHOMORE SEASON (2013): Did not play as third-year walk-on … Was No. 3 left tackle behind seniors Garrett Scott and Gage Niemeyer … Missed spring practice following shoulder surgery.

R-FRESHMAN SEASON (2012): Did not play as defensive lineman … Moved to offensive line in spring of 2013.
