"We Are Marshall" Exhibit Set to Open at Hall of Fame Cafe|

Huntington, W.Va. - The "We Are Marshall" Movie Exhibit will be opening Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the Marshall Hall of Fame Café in downtown Huntington.
The exhibit will feature many of the items which were on display from November 2006 to May 2007 at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend. Ind. These items include costumes and other items used in the movie, plus pictorial accounts of the movie when it was being filmed in Huntington and Atlanta, Ga. The exhibit will also display other elements surrounding the tragic plane crash of Nov. 14, 1970 and other actual events which were portrayed in the movie.
Marshall University President Dr. Stephen Kopp, Director of Athletics Bob Marcum, Red Dawson, Reggie Oliver and Keith Morehouse are scheduled to be in attendance at the 12:10 p.m. ribbon-cutting on Jan. 6.
Some of the items are on loan from Warner Brothers Studio to the Marshall University Department of Athletics, while others, depicting the aftermath of the crash and the times immediately following, have been provided by various individuals from the Marshall community.
The exhibit is being placed in the room formerly occupied by the gift shop at the Hall of Fame Café. The exhibit room will be open to the public on Jan. 6 from 1 to 8 p.m. and daily after that from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On other hours, the display can be seen from the large windows from both inside and outside the Hall of Fame Café.
