Football Season Ticket Renewal Deadline Approaching
Spring Game Tickets and Parking Passes go on Sale Tuesday (March 29)
March 28, 2011
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University Athletic Ticket Office's renewal deadline for 2010 football season ticket holders to reserve their seats for the 2011 season is April 8 at 5 p.m.
All season ticket holders who purchased season tickets during the 2010 season have been emailed instructions on how to renew their season tickets and have also had a hard copy renewal form mailed to their attention. Ticket holders who do not have a valid email registered with the ticket office need to contact the ticket office at 1-800-THE-HERD to update their account information.
Season ticket orders that are renewed online will save each season ticket holder $8 in handling charges and make them eligible to win several prizes that include two tickets to the athletic director's sky suite for a home football game, a week long pass to the Greenbrier Classic, along with many other great items.
Season tickets that are not renewed by the April 8th deadline will be released and become available for purchase by the general public.
In addition, tickets to the 2011 Green and White spring game on April 23rd at 4:00 p.m. will go on sale Tuesday, March 29.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 17 and under. Tickets can be ordered online at www.herdzone.com, by calling 800-THE-HERD, or by stopping by the athletic ticket office in the Cam Henderson Center.
Individuals who purchase spring game tickets online will be entered in a drawing to win a pair of chair back tickets for the Marshall vs. Virginia Tech football game on September 24th. Tickets that are ordered online or via phone will be mailed out starting the week of April 11th.
Spring game parking passes for the West, West Annex, and West Annex 2 lots will be sold in advance through the Marshall University Ticket Office. These passes are $20 apiece and are only available to Big Green Members with a maximum of two passes per account. Parking spots are NOT reserved and spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis among all three of the available lots. Parking lots will open at 10:00 a.m. on April 23.
