Season Tickets are Going at a Record Pace
April 23, 2010
Huntington, W.Va. - The Marshall University Athletics Ticket Office announced Friday that season ticket sales have already eclipsed last year's total heading into Saturday's Choose-A-Seat Day.
Marshall has sold more than 11,000 tickets for the 2010 football season. Last year, Marshall sold a total of 10,764 season ticket packages.
The Marshall Ticket Office will conduct a football season ticket "Choose-a-Seat" event at Noon on Saturday, April 24, leading up to kickoff of the spring football game. Fans can talk with ticket office personnel, look at available seating options and purchase tickets at the stadium from Noon through kickoff of the spring game.
All season ticket requests have been completed and all current season ticket holders who made requests through the ticket office during the renewal process in regards to their season ticket orders have been contacted and have received their seat assignments. Fans that have made requests and have not been in contact with the Marshall Ticket Office are asked to contact the ticket office at 800-THE-HERD to inquire about your request by the end of the day Friday. All remaining seats that have not been purchased will be made available for sale at Saturday's Choose-A-Seat.
Season ticket customer service stations will be located at Gate A and Gate C on the west side of the stadium. Fans are encouraged to look around the stadium and inquire about the different seating options available. Ticket office staff members will have updated seating charts available at each customer service station for fans to view available seats. Open seats will not be tagged this year.
