IRVING, Tx.- Five of 12 start times for the 2013 Marshall football season have been set with Tuesday's release of Conference USA's composite television schedule.

CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) and Fox Sports Net (FSN) will have three Herd games each, while Comcast Sports South (CSS) will broadcast Marshall's Nov. 9 game vs. UAB (TBA).

CBSSN will have three of the Herd's home games this season. It will carry the program's 7 p.m. season opener vs. Miami (Ohio) on Aug. 31, its Nov. 2 date vs. Southern Miss (12:30 p.m. ET) and the regular season finale (12 p.m. ET) against East Carolina.

FSN will have three of Marshall's road dates. The first game will be the Oct. 24 game at Middle Tennessee (7:30 p.m. ET), followed by Nov. 14th's game at Tulsa (7:30 p.m. ET) and the Nov. 23 game at FIU (TBA).

"We are very pleased to once again have a significant number of our football games on television and distributed to fans throughout the country," said Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky. "As we welcome our new members that join our current outstanding group of schools, we are looking forward to an exciting conference season that our fans will be able to watch throughout the fall."

The 2013 C-USA Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 7 is scheduled to air on either ESPN or ESPN2. It marks the ninth straight year that the C-USA Championship will air on the ESPN Family of Networks.

Additional Conference USA football television exposures remain a possibility (including games that are guaranteed to be televised as part of other conference's television packages), and games will be released as soon as they are finalized.

In addition to the UAB and FIU contests, start times for the Sept. 7 game vs. Gardner-Webb, the Sept. 14 game at Ohio, the Sept. 21 game at Virginia Tech, the Oct. 5 game vs. UTSA and the Oct. 12 game at FAU have not yet been finalized.
