Three More @HerdFB Games Set for Broadcast

June 7, 2017

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football’s Homecoming matchup with Old Dominion (2:30 p.m. ET) will be carried by ESPN3, the school learned Wednesday upon the release of Conference USA’s preliminary television schedule.

Marshall will also play its Nov. 11 game vs. WKU on beIN SPORTS (6:30 p.m. ET), while its Nov. 25 game with Southern Miss (2:30 p.m. ET) will be carried on Stadium. Stadium is a new, fully programmed, 24/7 multi-platform sports network that brings together exclusive live game and event coverage, extensive highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio programming.

Stadium includes a 24/7 linear feed distributed across both digital and broadcast platforms, as well as a comprehensive array of on demand content including additional live events and VOD highlights accessible via owned and operated Stadium platforms and select distribution partners. Stadium was formed when Campus Insiders, 120 Sports and The American Sports Network combined forces to take advantage of a combined collection of professional and collegiate rights and unique access to both digital and television distribution opportunities. Stadium is owned by a collection of industry leaders including Silver Chalice, Sinclair, MLBAM, the NHL, the PGA TOUR, and Time, Inc. and will launch later this Summer 2017.

Additional broadcast opportunities for games involving C-USA schools will be announced by the league office at a later date once those contracts are finalized.

The Thundering Herd’s road matchup with Charlotte (Oct. 7) was also set for 6 p.m. ET, the 49ers announced Wednesday as well.

Start times for games at Cincinnati (Sept. 30) and UTSA (Nov. 18) are yet to be determined.
