HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - St. Mary's Medical Center has partnered with the Marshall University Athletic Ticket Office by allowing its employees to use an automatic withdraw feature from their pay checks to purchase 2010 MU Football Season Tickets at a discounted price. Members of the Marshall University Ticket Office staff, selected Thundering Herd football players and cheerleaders registered 120 St. Mary's employees to participate in the season ticket program in only two hours Thursday at St. Mary's.

"I want to thank Doug Korstanje and the leadership at St. Mary's Medical Center for participating in the payroll deduction program and allowing us to sign up employees today on their campus," Marshall University Assistant Athletic Director Aaron Goebbel said. "We are always looking for opportunities to increase awareness about our season ticket offerings and today was highly successful for both Marshall Athletics and the hard-working employees at St. Mary's."

St. Mary's Medical Center employees who signed up for the automatic payroll deduction program in order to purchase season tickets today received a 15% discount for participating in the program. Employers with a significant employee base who are interested in participating in the program are encouraged to contact the Marshall University Athletic Ticket Office at 304-696-HERD or toll free at 800-THE-HERD.
