Marshall Finishes 7th at Davidson Invitational
Herd improves by two strokes in final round

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Freshman Clark Robinson (South Windsor, Conn.) posted a Top-10 score as the Thundering Herd men’s golf team concluded play at the Davidson Invitational at River Run Country Club, Tuesday, posting a seventh-place finish.
Despite falling from sixth to seventh, Marshall showed improvement, as three of five golfers recorded lower scores on the second day. As a team, the Herd improved by two strokes in the final round, posting a 24-over-par 312. Overall, Marshall shot a 50-over 626, 39 strokes behind winner No. 48 Tennessee, which put up an 11-over 587.
Robinson finished in a tie for seventh place, improving his Day 1 score of 4-over 76 to 1-over 73 for a total of 5-over 149.
