Men’s Golf to Return to Action in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate
The tournament will be hosted by William & Mary from March 19-21 and will be on a par-72 course
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Marshall men’s golf team will continue its second half of its 2016-17 schedule in Williamsburg, Va., at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate Sunday-Tuesday. William & Mary is the host institution for the three-day, three-round tournament that begins on Sunday, March 19, at the River Course.
The Herd is coming off a seventh-place finish at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Junior Alex Weiss was the top finisher for Marshall, finishing at 12th.
In addition to Marshall and the host Tribe, 21 other teams travel to the James River this weekend to play the par-70, 6765-yard River Course. The line-up includes Binghamton, Delaware, Drake, Eastern Kentucky, Fort Wayne, High Point, Louisville, Loyola (Md.), Old Dominion, Penn State, Radford, Sam Houston State, Saint Bonaventure, St. Francis (Pa.), Temple, Tennessee, Towson, Winthrop, Xavier, and Youngstown State.
There will be no live stats, but results from the end of each day will be posted to HerdZone.com.
