2011 Conference USA Men's Golf All-Academic Team Announced

IRVING, Texas - Marshall University junior Bosten Miller has been named to the 2011 Conference USA Men's Golf All-Academic Team, it was announced by the league on Friday.

The team consists of one senior, four juniors and a sophomore, following a vote by the league's sports information contacts for the sport. The list consists of student-athletes who hold a minimum 3.2 GPA and competed in at least 75 percent of their team's scheduled tournaments.

Miller becomes the first Herd academic team recipient after posting a 73.58 stroke average this season. The Charleston, W.Va. native has compiled four Top 10 finishes this season, including a tie for third in the team's last outing at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational.

The biology/pre-med major has also earned academic recognition on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and Dean's List.
