Men's Golf Participates In Final Spring Event Of The Season At Bruce Fossum/TaylorMade Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Thundering Herd face off against 14 other schools at the Bruce Fossum/TaylorMade Invitational this Saturday and Sunday, an event hosted by Michigan State University.

The tournament takes place at the Forest Akers West Course in East Lansing, which is set up as a par-72, 7,013-yard layout. Thirty-six holes will be played on Saturday, with the final 18 holes taking place on Sunday.

Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Marshall, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Toledo, Wisconsin, and Xavier will compete in this year's tournament.

Indiana won last year's event with a three-round score of 880. The Hoosiers' Jeff Overton won medalist honors in 2004 with a 210 (73-70-67).
