Men’s Golf Back in Action at the Memphis Intercollegiate
Herd is one of 13 teams to compete
CORDOVA, Tenn. – The Marshall men’s golf team heads back out on the course at the Memphis Intercollegiate. The two-day, three-round tournament will be hosted at the Colonial Country Club. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., Monday Sept. 26.
Last time out Marshall finished ninth out of 18 teams at the EKU Colonel Classic. Senior Clark Robinson finished as the runner-up, just one shot back off the lead. Joining Robinson will be fellow senior Will Evans, junior Alex Weiss and freshmen Matt Hoffman and Cole Moore.
Along with the host school Memphis, the other teams that Marshall will be competing against are; Arkansas State, Belmont, Central Arkansas, IUPUI, Little Rock, Lipscomb, Oral Roberts, Samford, Southern Miss, Western Carolina and WKU.
The Colonial Country Club is a par 72 course with a total of 7,300 yards. Marshall in its first two tournaments competed on par 70 courses.
