Men's Golf Takes Off for Cobra-PUMA Invitational|

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Thundering Herd men's golf team will participate in its third event of the fall season as it heads off to Ft. Myers, Fla. for the Cobra-PUMA Invitational.
The 54-hole stroke-play event is being held at the Miromar Lake Golf Course, a 7,390-yard, par-72 course. 36 holes will be played on Sunday with the final 18 holes in play on Monday. A shotgun start is set for 9 a.m. each morning.
Marshall will go against 14 other golf teams in Florida. The field includes Arkansas State, Bethune Cookman, Dayton, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgetown, Jacksonville, Loyola of Maryland, Northern Kentucky, Penn State, St. Joseph's, William and Mary, Wofford and Xavier.
In the last time out for MU, it finished 12th at the Cardinal Intercollegiate earlier in the week. Kerns and Anania were the top finishers for the Herd with finishes of 24 and 36 respectively. Kerns, a senior, shot the lowest round of the tournament with a second round 71 (-1).
