HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – Marshall men’s golf is headed to Hebron, Ky., to compete in the Bearcat Invitational for the fifth consecutive season.

Due to weather implications, Monday’s 36 holes will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m., instead of the original 8:30 a.m. designated time. The second round will resume on Tuesday, followed by the final 18 holes. The 16 teams will tee off at 8:30 a.m. ET Tuesday.

Live stats will not be available, but final stats will be provided at the end of each day of competition on HerdZone.com.

The Marshall men's golf team competed at the Patriot Intercollegiate last week, Sept. 28-29. The Herd won its second-straight tournament, and brought home its first individual champion of the season and of the past two years – freshman Clark Robinson (South Windsor, Conn.).

Bosten Miller was the last member of the Herd to take home an individual win, and it was in the UK Bluegrass Fall Invitational on Sept. 18, 2011.

Robinson came into the final day tied at 10th and shot a 66, matching the second lowest score in Herd history.

The Herd will be playing at the Traditions Golf Club. The 7,100-yard course is played as a par-72.
