Thundering Herd Men's Golf Heads To Bearcat Invitational|

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.--The Marshall University men's golf team travels to the University of Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational Oct. 11-12 at the Traditions Golf Club in Hebron, Ky. The first 36 holes begin on Monday at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. The final 18 holes is scheduled to begin on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
In addition to the Herd, other teams scheduled to compete are Austin Peay, Ball State, Bellarmine, Belmont, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Cincinnati, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State, Northern Illinois, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Western Kentucky, and Youngstown State.
Marshall's lineup will be comprised of Nathan Kerns (So., Ironton, Ohio, Ironton H.S.), Bosten Miller (Jr., Charleston, W.Va., Capital H.S.), Aaron Boggs (R-So., Madison, W.Va., Scott H.S.), Christian Brand (R-Sr., Charleston, W.Va., Capital H.S.), and Brian Anania (Fr., Hurricane, W.Va., Hurricane H.S.).
Marshall finished fourth at the Renaissance Invitational Oct. 4 at the Renaissance Golf Course. The Thundering Herd at 880 (295-292-293) trailed the team champions, Xavier, by 24 strokes. Miller was the top finishing Thundering Herd player. The junior from Charleston tied for ninth (73-69-75-217) with five other players.
