The Marshall men's soccer team opened its 2012 season on Friday night with a 2-0 win over Wright State.

2011 (Junior):Games Played/Started: 16/16... Posted team-highs in points with 22 and in goals with 10... Tied for second on the team with 2 assists... Posted a C-USA season leading, single-game high of 7 points in one game (against Winthrop)... Scored the team's first goal of the season in the 1-0 win over Michigan State... Scored a hattrick and provided an assist in the 4-0 win over Winthrop... Returned to Sam Hood in the Herd's next home match and scored another hattrick in the 3-0 win over Memphis... Named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week for his performance against Memphis... Had the second goal in the 2-0 win over Kentucky... Scored the team's lone goal in the 1-3 loss to South Carolina... Claimed a goal and an assist against SMU in the team's 3-4 quarterfinal loss... Named Second Team All-Conference USA.

2010 (Sophomore): Games Played/Started: 16/16... Recorded a team-high in points with 11... Scored three goals, one against Liberty, one against Wright State and one against Memphis... Tallied two assists against Radford in a 3-1 win... Had three assists in C-USA action coming against FIU, SMU and Tulsa... Finished the season with three goals and five assists... Third-Team All-Conference USA.

2009 (Freshman): Joined the team six games into the season but played and started in all 13 games at forward... Tallied five goals and two assists... Had the second most points on the team with 12... Scored four goals and had two assists in C-USA action... Goals against: VMI, SMU, Memphis, Tulsa and UAB... Connected on penalty kick attempt against UAB in C-USA semi-final shootout victory... Named to Conference USA All-Freshman Team... Named to C-USA All-Tournament Team.

Prior to Marshall: Attended Logan Park HS in New Zealand... Won the leauge championship in 2006... Won the golden boot award for top goal scorer in the league in 06 and 07... As a member of the Caversham club team captured the league championship 2007-09... Was the Otago Young Player of the Yearin 2007 and 2008.

Personal: Son of Andrew and Lindsay Jackson... Has a younger sister (16) and a younger brother (14)... Plans to major in sports management.
