2016 (Senior): Games Played/Games Started: 18/18 … Started every game for the Herd and logged career-high 1,248 minutes … Tied for the team lead with three goals as well as tied for first with four assists … Scored first goal of the season against Detroit (Aug. 28) in the 60th minute to take a 1-0 lead … Scored the game-winner at home against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 25) in the 87th minute … Scored in the 66th minute to tie the match at 1-1 at home against Liberty (Oct. 8) … Assisted on both goals in 2-2 tie at New Mexico (Oct. 11) with equalizer coming in the 85th minute … Led Herd with 10 points … finished with 15 shots and seven on goal.

2015 (Junior):
Games Played/Started: 17-9…Started the final nine games of the season…Scored one goal, the game winner against Old Dominion, which helped the Herd advance to the Conference USA Tournament…Had two assists, against Shawnee State (Oct. 27) and UAB (Oct. 31)…Had 18 shots, with six on goal…Played a total of 727 minutes...Named to Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll...Earned Conference USA Academic Medal.

2014 (RS Sophomore): Games Played/Started: 13/7...Scored two goals in 2014, the game-winner against No. 15 New Mexico on Nov. 1 and against Concord on Nov. 8...Recorded an assist against Concord on Nov. 8...Had 14 shots, with 8 on goal.

2013 (RS Freshman):
Games Played/Started: 14/9 ...
Helped lift Marshall to its first win of the season with a goal in the 46th minute against IPFW in a 1-0 win ... Recorded five shots ... Spent a good portion of the season unable to play due to health issues.

2012 (Freshman): Redshirted during entire season ... Earned a C-USA Commissioner's Medal for accumulating a GPA above 3.75.

Prior to Marshall: 2-time WV All-State midfielder... AAA Midfielder of the Year in 2010... Went undefeated in his sophomore and junior years... Played club for the WVSC Elite Titans... Played for the WV Chaos in summer 2011.

Personal: Son of John and Dee Starcher... Plans to major in sports management and minor in accounting.
