HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University men’s soccer team looks to stay unbeaten as the Thundering Herd welcomes the Radford University Highlanders to Sam Hood Field on Monday afternoon.
MU is coming off a 1-0 road victory over Oakland University on Friday as freshman Anthony Virgara tallied the games lone goal and the first for the Herd on the season.
Radford enters Monday’s contest with a record of 1-0 as RU topped Mt. St. Mary’s in its first contest of the season, which went to overtime.
The Herd has yet to give up a goal through 200 minutes of play.
Monday’s match against the Highlanders beings a stretch of three straight games with Big South opponents for the Thundering Herd. MU takes part in the VMI tournament next weekend with competition scheduled against Liberty and host VMI.
