HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- Junior defender Cody Partyka of the Thundering Herd men’s soccer team has been named to College Soccer 360.com’s Primetime Performer Honor Roll for his play in last week’s win over Kentucky and tie with SMU.

Partyka helped the Herd shutout a Kentucky team that is ranked No. 35 by the national website, and held an SMU team that is ranked No. 33 by the site to just one goal that came via a long-distance free kick.

Indeed, Partyka has played a large part in Marshall’s recovery from a four game losing streak earlier this season, starting at center-back in the team’s more recent seven game unbeaten streak. Currently, the Herd ranks at the top of Conference USA with the lowest goals-against average and the least goals allowed.
