DALLAS, Texas - The Marshall University men's soccer will travel to Dallas for the first time since joining Conference USA to face SMU Sunday Oct. 19.

Entering Sunday's game the Thundering Herd is 0-3 all-time against the Mustangs. Last season, the Mustangs defeated the Herd 3-0 in Huntington.

The Herd is coming off its first win of the season Wednesday against Florida International, 3-2 at Sam Hood Field.

Marshall was able to pick up the victory in the last two minutes of the game when junior Michael Bolt (Hendersonville, Tenn.) scored the winning goal. Junior Dustin Dawes (Nashville, Tenn.) scored his team leading fourth goal against FIU.

The Mustangs enter the contest 7-3-2 overall and 0-2-1 in C-USA. Last time out SMU defeated Central Arkansas 5-1 Sunday Oct. 12.

Leading scorer for the Mustangs is senior Paulo da Silva who has five goals and two assists thus far in 2008. In goal sophomore Craig Hill has four shutouts this season and is allowing less than one goal per game.

The match will be played at SMU's Westcott Field and will start at 8 p.m. EST. Gametracker will also be available.
