Marshall to Face Charlotte in Final Road Game|
Nov. 1, 2013
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - After having its postseason dreams dashed with a midweek defeat, the Marshall men's soccer team will travel to Charlotte for its final road contest of the 2013 season on Saturday at 7 p.m.
HAVE YOU HERD?
As the Herd was unable to avoid being shutout for the sixth time in October, Marshall finished with more shots (14-11) and corner kicks (5-1) than Kentucky, but was unable to produce more goals than the Wildcats.
Redshirt freshman Bijan Gloston (Clarksville, Tenn.) recorded his second career start in goal for the Herd and was unable to get the goal support he needed as he suffered his first loss of the season in the net.
THE GRAY AREA
"We are out of it at this point and there is no way we can qualify for the conference tournament so we will let some guys play that haven't played much to see what they are capable of doing and start building for next year."
