Herd Men’s Soccer To Hold Winter ID Camp
One-day event offers chance to sharpen skills
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall men’s soccer team, which advanced to the 2015 Conference USA Tournament Championship match, will host its Winter ID Camp on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Campers will have a chance to be evaluated by members of the Marshall coaching staff and learn how to train at the NCAA Division I level.
The Winter ID camp is a one-day event allowing you to have two challenging training sessions, informational meetings, as well as time to interact with our staff and campers.
Members of Marshall’s coaching staff will direct the camp and will evaluate each camper’s decision making, tactical awareness and technical skills. Each player will also be given an evaluation report with coaching tips, as well as a one-on-one discussion with a member of the coaching staff.
The camp starts with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and the first training session starting at 9 a.m. After the two-hour session, campers will eat lunch, meet with compliance staff and learn more information about Marshall University. Session two starts at 1:00 p.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. The camp will close with remarks from the coaching staff from 3:15-3:30 p.m.
The cost of the camp is $125 per player, including lunch and a t-shirt. For more information about the camp, see the attached brochure here, or contact Assistant Coach Alex Fatovic at (304) 696-2594 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
