Juliet Donahue, the staff's lone Marshall graduate, is entering her first season as Marshall's newly-created director of basketball operations after working for three seasons on the bench as assistant coach. She served as a graduate assistant on Royce Chadwick's initial coaching staff at Marshall in 2001-02.
"The epitome of a Marshall graduate, Jet brings a devoted love of our university as well as our sport," Chadwick said. "She is one of the hardest working, loyal individuals I've had the pleasure to work with. She knows our girls well and the level our program aspires to reach."
Donahue, a Point Pleasant, W.Va., native, received a B.A. in education from Marshall in December of 1999, and in May of 2003 she graduated with an M.S. in athletic administration, also from Marshall. She averaged 12.8 points per game as a member of the Point Pleasant HS team, earning all-state honorable mention honors as a prep, before playing as a member of Marshall's 1994-95 team.
Her duties include travel coordination, marketing assistance, summer camp planning and arrangements, fund raising, organization of coaches' appearances and office administration of the Locker Room Club.
Donahue is engaged to Chris Dunn of Huntington, a former baseball player at Marshall.
