After becoming the first player to compete at Marshall for four years under head coach Royce Chadwick, Jamie Kellerman begins her first season as a graduate manager for the Thundering Herd.
Kellerman, 23, enjoyed a four-year run with the Herd beginning in 2001-02, Chadwick's initial season at MU. An on-the-floor coach during her days in the Green & White, Kellerman played in 64 games for Marshall with the goal of learning from Chadwick and his staff in effort to one day break into the coaching ranks. With her playing days behind her, Kellerman now has the opportunity to continue her apprenticeship under the wings of Chadwick.
"Jamie did a tremendous job for us as a senior leader and she now brings that leadership into a student manager position," Chadwick said. "She knows the system, the players, the coaching staff and Marshall University. She's a tremendous asset for us."
Kellerman, a Houston, Texas, native, earned a bachelor's degree in business management in 2004 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in athletic administration.
