Appeared in 27 games during the season....finished season 13-of-16 from the free throw line, good for a .813 outing of season came against Morehead State where she had a season-high ten rebounds, tied her career mark with two blocked shots while scoring eight points....chipped in season-high nine points in road contest at Southern Miss while grabbing five boards....tallied six points and three rebounds on 2/15/08 against UCF....played a season-high 26 minutes in home game vs Southern Miss finishing with four rebounds....scored eight points to go along with four rebounds in regular season finale win over Houston.

2006-07 (Sophomore):
Named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team...appeared in all 30 games with 25 starts...second on team in rebounding (5.9/game, 19th in C-USA), third in minutes (25.4/game), fourth in assists (1.3/game) and steals (1.0/game) and fifth in scoring (7.0 ppg)...three double-doubles ranked second on team...recorded 12 points with nine rebounds and three steals on Nov. 17 vs. Southern in Fifth Third MU Classic championship game vs. Robert Morris, King grabbed 12 rebounds (seven offensive) with four assists...tied for the team season-high with five steals vs. Morehead State on Nov. 21 to go along with 11 points and seven rebounds...enjoyed game of career in Caribbean Classic in Cancun, Mexico, on Nov. 24 vs. Drake...posted first career double-double with career-highs in points (14), rebounds (13), blocks (2) and minutes (36) along with two steals and an assist...scored the game-winning point on a free throw with no time on the clock in thrilling, one-point victory...scored seven points with seven rebounds in C-USA opener vs. Houston on Dec. 2...netted 11 points with six rebounds, including career-high two 3-pointers, on Dec. 5 vs. Virginia...scored 10 points with nine rebounds in overtime win at Richmond on Dec. 28...recorded a double-double on Jan. 7 vs. Southern Miss, tying her career-best with a game-high 13 rebounds with 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line...added two assists, two blocks and two steals against the Golden Eagles...tallied 10-point games vs. Memphis (Feb. 1) and at Tulsa (Feb. 9)...grabbed eight rebounds vs. the Golden Hurricane...registered third double-double of season with 12-point, 12-rebound effort vs. Tulane on Feb. 15...scored nine points with seven rebounds at UCF on Feb. 22 to help snap a five-game losing streak.

2005-06 (Freshman):
Appeared in 28 games with four starts...averaged 2.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 12.7 minutes per game... ranked 15th in field goal percentage among Conference USA freshmen...fifth on team in free throws made (20)...sixth on team in field goal percentage (38.7)...scored five points in her collegiate debut vs. Tennessee State on Nov. 18...tallied a block in three straight games in the non-conference schedule...tied for the team lead in rebounds (4) vs. No. 5 Baylor on Nov. 27...went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line at Morehead State on Nov. 30...grabbed a career-best six rebounds vs. Binghamton on Dec. 2...earned first career start Dec. 13 at Wright State...scored six points, going 3-for-3 from the field with four rebounds, a block, an assist and a steal...started Marshall's inaugural Conference USA game vs. East Carolina on Dec. 16...led the Herd in rebounds (5) and steals (2) vs. SMU on Jan. 29... logged her first double-digit point game on Feb. 24 at UCF with 10 points, going 5-for-7 from the floor with five rebounds... heated up down the stretch, averaging 4.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and shooting 47.4 percent from the floor in Marshall's final five of seven C-USA freshmen to register a perfect 1.000 percent from the free-throw line at the league tournament (2-for-2).

Played for coach Scott Allen at Paul VI High School...holds the PVI record for points (1,343) and rebounds (983) in a career...averaged 12.2 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game over her high school career...hit 59 percent of her field goal attempts as a senior...2005 McDonald's All-American nominee...named the Virginia Independent Schools (VIS) Division I State Most Valuable Player and state tournament MVP as a junior...helped PVI to back-to-back state titles as a freshman and sophomore...a VIS All-State First Team and All-Tournament Team selection during PVI's state championship seasons...selected as the Div. I State Tournament MVP in 2004...named the No. 110th best power forward in the nation by the All Star Girls Report... won three AAU national championships (10-U, 13-U, 15-U) with one national runner up (11-U) and two third place finishes (12-U, 14-U)...her 2004 accolades also include selections to the Washington Post Third Team All-Metro, Reebok All-American and the Nike Select Team...also a two-time AAU Boo Williams Invitational MVP.

Born on January 27, 1987...daughter of Cheryl and Jerome King...has a twin sister, Kerry, who serves as a team manager at Marshall, an older sister, Zoe (37), and three brothers, Derek (23), a student at Virginia Wesleyan, Andre (42) and Tyrone (43)...lists her first championship, at age 10 with the Fairfax Stars, as her favorite moment in athletics...nursing major.
