Walters appeared in 31 games, starting ten in her redshirt freshman season....reached double-digit scoring twice, with the last coming at UAB....finished second on the team in steals with 36....averaged 1.48 assists per game....played 19.3 minutes per game, the top average among newcomers....hit 50% of her three-point attempts (5-10)....chipped in ten points against North Texas in only her second game....dished out a career high five assists while going a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line against the Mean Green....recorded a career best six steals against UL Monroe while playing 32 minutes, the second most of her career....was solid in weekend road sweep at SMU and Tulsa, shot 5-of-6 from free throw line against Mustangs while grabbing a career and game high nine rebounds at Tulsa....notched second double-digit outing at UAB scoring ten ....came into her own at C-USA Tournament, averaging 30 minutes per game, third best on the team and 7.0 PPG....after hitting two three-pointers in the regular season, Walters connected on three in MU's three contests in New Orleans....assisted on ten baskets in tournament, second on team behind Casey Baker....played 33 minutes in final game against Southern Miss, the top total of her career.

Attended Martingrove HS and then Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass...played for current Marshall assistant coach John McGraw at Notre Dame Prep and Exodus Massachusetts ... named an All-Star at Martingrove as a junior and senior... as a senior, was named captain at Martingrove... earned best passer honors in 2005... contributed to the back-to-back city champs in the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 seasons...as a senior at Notre Dame Prep, she was team captain... Team MVP of Exodus Massachusetts... starred in the FAB 5 All Star game in Atlanta as well as the Big Apple Recruiting All American basketball camp in NYC.
