HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University women's basketball team has announced several promotions, which will take place for Sunday afternoon's Jam the Cam game against Southern Miss.
All tickets to the game cost only $1 and are available at the Marshall ticket office and will be available on game day.
The first 1,000 fans will receive an "I Love The Herd" t-shirt while the first 100 will receive a Marshall Basketball aluminum water bottle. Four hundred Jam the Cam shirts will also be given out while select fans will be given a Marshall gym bag during the contest.
From 4-5 p.m., an event entitled "Living Healthy With The Herd" will take place on the concourse. Over 30 booths will be set up promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Several will be offering free giveaways along with games and other activities. Fans will have the opportunity to test out a Wii Fit while testing their skills in an obstacle course.
A magician will provide halftime entertainment while several other promotions will take place during the game. One student will have the opportunity to shoot for tuition while two students will battle each other to win free textbooks.
All students in attendance will receive a 20% off coupon to the campus bookstore while the first 250 Marshall Maniacs receive a free giant foam finger.
Other prizes to be given out include a $100 gift card to Panera, a prize pack courtesy of WV Asthma, a prize from American Health Centers and a t-shirt toss.
The ninth version of Jam the Cam will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Cam Henderson Center. It will be televised by ESPN2 and will be available online at ESPN360.com.
