Marshall Set for Final Exhibition against Kentucky State

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women’s basketball will play in its final exhibition against Kentucky State on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET in the Cam Henderson Center.

Marshall opened up the preseason scrimmages with an 84-71 victory over Concord in the first of two exhibitions. Five different players including Orlandria Williams, Jasmine Shaw, Leandra King, Norrisha Victrum, and Suporia Dickens earned double-digit points.

As a Division II program, Kentucky State recorded a 9-17 (8-14 SIAC) record in the 2011-12 season. The Thorobreds are led by returning point leader Kristi Malohi. The sophomore earned 108 points last year, averaging 16.0 minutes per game.
