Marshall's No. 1 player with a stroke average of 79.15, the sixth-best average in Marshall single-season history... averaged 77.45 strokes in the fall, 81.22 in the spring...captured her first career medalist honor - the Herd's first medalist since the program was re-launched in 2002 - with a 224 (77-72-75) at the season-opening Lady Herd Fall Invitational...posted her low-round of the year (72) in the event's second round...named Conference USA Golfer of the Week on Sept. 14 for her efforts...tied for 10th with teammate Amber Churchill at the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup the following week...led or tied for the team lead in five of seven tournaments played in...posted back-to-back top-20 finishes at the Baja Invitational (t-16) and EKU Spring Invitational (t-20)...placed 34th at the C-USA Championships...won the second of back-to-back West Virginia Women's Amateur titles in July, with a one-stroke victory over former Ohio State golfer Brittany Adams...qualified for the Futures Tour's Betty Puskar Classic as the State Am winner...missed the cut by three strokes, but finished with a 36-hole total of 151 (78-73), better than over 40 pros.

Named Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year...tied for eighth at MAC Championships...second team All-MAC selection...led the team with a scoring average of 78.57, the fifth-best single-season average in Marshall annals...played in every tournament round, with her score counting 100% of the time towards the team total...led the team in all but two spring events...had one top-25, three top-20s, and three top-10 finishes during the season...highlights included a solid 6th at Eastern Kentucky, 7th at Northern Illinois' Snowbird Invitational, and a tie for 10th at the El Diablo...named the MAC Golfer of the Week following her back-to-back top-10 finishes in Florida the third week of March...achieved a 4.0 GPA for the spring semester...began her 2004 summer by qualifying as an alternate for the Women's U.S. Open...she won the qualifier for the 2004 U.S. Amateur Public Links with a 74 at the end of June...placed third in the West Virginia Amateur and was a competitor in the Betty Puskar Futures Tour Golf Classic.

Named the 2002 WVGA Girls Junior Player of the Year...selected as the Top Flite Female Player of the Year in spring 2003...captured the West Virginia Junior Amateur Championship in both 2002 and 2003...at the West Virginia Amateur, she placed 3rd in 2001, 4th in 2002 and 2nd in 2003..made the semi-finals in the West Virginia Match Play Event in 2003, and tied for 6th at the West Virginia State High School Tournament...an all-state selection in 2003.
Born on Nov. 1, 1984...daughter of Bruce and Loretta Hatcher...has two sisters, Lori (24), a former Youngstown State golfer, and Elaine (17)...majoring in psychology.
