Ylva Forslund shot a team-best 1-over 73
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Junior Ylva Forslund posted a team-best 1-over-par 73 for the Marshall Thundering Herd women’s golf team on the first day of the Edwin Watts Classic.
"It was great to be on the course again and seeing the girls in tournament mode," head coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "Shelby and Ylva really helped us out with those scores today. We have two more days to climb the scoreboard, so I'm excited to see these girls play well."
Forslund’s round was highlighted on the back nine, where she made three birdies, including two consecutive birdies on the 17th and 18th holes to help her earn a tie for 70th place.
