Herd Finishes Play at Kiawah Island Intercollegiate|

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C.-The Marshall women's golf finished its three-day competition at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate on Tuesday with a 127-over total of 991 to finish in 28th place.
Korakot Simsiriwong led the Herd once again Tuesday with a 77 to finish the tournament in a tie for 21st place with a total of 228 (+12). She carded four birdies on the day, including three on the front nine.
Rachel Thompson's last round was an 80, which included a birdie on the par-4 10th hole, to give her a three-day total of 241 (+25, T-94th)
Maria Battaglia had her best round of the tournament, as she posted an 84, to place her in a tie for 156th (+44, 260), while sisters Caitlyn (+46, 262, 158th) and Kristyn Morrone (+67, 283, 170th) both carded 86s on Tuesday. Caitlyn birdied the par-4 sixth hole and Kristyn, who improved over yesterday's total by 14 shots, birdied the par-3 15th hole.
The Herd will be back in action Saturday at the Lady Eagle Invitational Sunday at Southern Miss.
