Women's Golf Completes Round Two of C-USA Women's Championship

Round Two Results

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Marshall women’s golf team finished the second round of the Conference USA Women’s Championship at 10th with a score of 37-over-par 613 on Tuesday, April 18, at the Verandah Club.

Junior Leigha Holt led the Herd for the second round, as she finished the day with a 3-over 75 to give her a total score of a 6-over 150. That score put her in a tie for 18th. Sophomore Sarfina Seretharan completed the second round with a 6-over 78 and gave her a total score of 9-over 153. That put the sophomore in a tie for 30th.

Two-time champs Middle Tennessee overtook yesterday’s leaders, Old Dominion, and gained a 4-stroke lead over the Monarchs with a 7-over 583. Jenna Burris of Middle Tennessee has a 4-stroke lead over Old Dominion’s Maggie Simmermacher with a 7-under 137.
