Marshall Women's Golf Finishes Indiana Invitational In 14th Place

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Thundering Herd tallied a three-round score of 985 (327-328-330) to finish the Indiana Invitational in 14th place. The University of Missouri won the tournament with a team score of 908 (301-311-296).

    Amber Churchill (Dublin, Ohio) led the Herd contingent, finishing in a tie for 17th place with a score of 235 (79-74-82). Allyson Hatcher (Wheeling, W.Va.) was Marshall's next best scorer with a 241 (76-83-82), which tied her for 37th place. Stacy Wagner (Harmony, Pa.) and Tammy Mahar (Ashland, Ky.) closed out MU's scoring total with a 253 and 259, respectively. Jodie Switzer (Collingwood, Ont.) carded a 266, and Carling Dickey (New Castle, Ind.) scored a 268 for the Herd.

    Karen Dennison of Indiana won the tournament with a 218 (76-71-71).
