Women's Golf Completes First Tournament Of Fall Season

    CHARLESTON, S.C.--The women's golf team, competing with two sophomores and three freshman in its second year of competition, finished 31st at the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic this weekend, hosted by the College of Charleston.

    In an event shortened to two rounds because of torrential rains on Saturday, the Herd finished with a final score of 666, 64 strokes back of the team champion Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, who finished the tournament with a score of 602.

    Allyson Hatcher led Marshall with a two round score of 160. Stacy Wagner was next with a 168, followed by Carling Dickey (169), Meredith Crislip (172), and Sheena Caron (175).
