HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Thundering Herd women’s golf team will look to close out its fall schedule on a high note during the FedEx Memphis Women's Intercollegiate starting Monday at Ridgeway Country Club in Germantown, Tenn.

Fellow Conference USA member Memphis is the event’s host. The Tigers are the co-defending champions after tying with Samford last year.

Three rounds will be played over two days at the Ridgeway Country Club, which is a par-71, 6,150-yard course. 36-holes will be played on Monday with the final 18 on Tuesday. A shotgun starting will begin action in each round. Play begins each day at 9:00 a.m. ET.

Marshall will be competing against a field of 12 NCAA Division I teams, two NCAA Division II teams and one junior college. Including the Herd and the host Lady Tigers, the other 10 Division I teams include Central Arkansas, Missouri State, Montana, Samford, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, UAB, UL-Monroe and Xavier. Drury and Lewis are the two Division II representatives while Redlands Community College rounds out the field.

The Herd’s lineup will include Korakot Simsiriwong, the individual champion of the Cardinal Classic earlier this season. She will be joined on the course by Samantha DiDomenico, Rachel Thompson, Caitlyn Morrone and Kristyn Morrone.
