KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Marshall University's women's soccer senior Kassie Hollman (Marietta, Ga.) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) East Region Scholar Team, the publication announced Monday.

As captain, Hollman started 18 games and led the Herd with 25 shots, 15 on goal, and four assists. As a main frontline attacker, Hollman's dangerous offensive striking ability has awarded her with numerous accolades in the program's history.

Hollman's strong performances on and off the field helped her earn her second-straight NSCAA Scholar Honorable Mention accolade.

"She deserves this award with all of her hard work on and off the field," Marshall head coach Chris Kane stated. "It is great to see her awarded for all of her accomplishments."

Hollman finished her career with 87 shots, 43 points, 17 goals, and 45 starts.
