HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall women’s soccer has received Conference USA’s Sport Academic Award, announced the league commissioner, Britton Banowsky, Monday. 

C-USA’s Sport Academic Award is given every year to the team in each conference-sponsored sport with the highest grade-point average.   Marshall women’s soccer earned this season’s nod after achieving a combined 3.479 GPA.  Further, the ladies were among six teams in the league to achieve the award for the second consecutive time.
