2015 Junior:

GP/GS 25-7...Appeared at first base and as the designated player...Hit for a .143 average...Had 5 hits, 10 runs and 10 RBI in 35 at bats...Hit a grand slam against Ohio on March 19...Walked four times...Had a .231 on-base percentage and .229 slugging percentage... Named to 2015 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014 (Sophomore): Started 18 of her 45 games played in 2014. Batted for a .210 average with 9 RBI and 4 runs scored. Hit a home run against Nebraska-Omaha on February 15th. Reached 19 total bases and recorded 5 walks for the season. Recorded a .306 slugging percentage and .275 on-base percentage on the season. Had a single-game high 2 hits against Nebraska-Omaha on February 15th. Also recorded single-game highs for total bases (6) and RBI (4) against Nebraska-Omaha on February 15th. Ranks tied for 1st in single-season school history for best fielding percentage with a minimum of 10 chances with a perfect 1.000. Named to 2013-14 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (Freshman): Started four of 18 games as a designated hitter or pinch hitter... She ended her rookie season with a .105 batting average and .263 slugging percentage...Cook earned her first hit against Miami (Ohio) on Feb. 16, and on April 10 smashed her first collegiate homer as a pinch hitter against Northern Kentucky... She received the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Played for Lincoln County High School in nearby West Hamlin, W.Va...her 2011 team won the state Class AAA High School Championship where she was named to the all-tournament team...named second team all-state the same year as she led the Panthers in hits, homeruns, and RBI...as a senior was named both first team all-conference and all-state was a member of the National Honor Society, secretary and treasurer of Bible Club and part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, while earning a 3.9 GPA.

Personal: Born March 12, 1994 to parents Keith and Bobbi Cook...mother Bobbi ran track for Marshall...has two siblings...sister Ashley (27), brother Justin (26)...cousin Brandon Thompson was a offensive lineman for Nebraska...major is communication disorders.
