Volunteer Assistant Coach

On July 21, 2005, Marshall head coach Shonda Stanton announced the addition of Nicole Brock as a volunteer assistant coach.

Brock, a 2003 graduate of Morehead State in Morehead, Ky., received her bachelor of science degree in exercise science. She was a four-year scholarship athlete and maintained a 3.598 grade point average in kinesiotherapy.

Brock was the captain of the Morehead State softball team during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. She batted .333 during her senior season and received Ohio Valley Conference honorable mention honors in 2002 and second team honors in 2003. She was named an NFCA Scholar Athlete in 2001 as well as being named to the NFCA's "Four Hit Club."

She currently ranks fifth in three career categories at Morehead State, while ranking fourth in career home runs.
