2012 (Freshman): Appeared in a total of 53 games, primarily as a pinch-runner...did make four starts, three as the designated player and one at second base...her first career start against Bucknell March 3, went 2-for-3 with a run scored...scored 16 times during the season including once in the C-USA first round against East Carolina...was awarded both the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll award and C-USA Academic Medal for her work in the classroom.

High School: Was an multi-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, and softball at Jackson High School... recorded over 1,500 career digs as the libero for the Volleyball team...As a member of Jackson's basketball squad, she led them in assist during her senior year...In the same year she helped guide the school to a sectional championship as the team's starting point guard....During her senior year with the softball team she recorded a .507 batting average, .845 slugging percentage, and .577 on-base percentage....additionally she had 36 total hits including seven homeruns and also scored 34 times and stole 23 bases all in 21 games...Her achievements includes all-SEOAL honors for three years, all-district twice, and was named to the all-state team her senior year.

Personal: Cooper is the daughter of Butch and Jody Cooper...has two siblings include Sharissa (22) and Billy (14)...major is nursing with a math minor.
