NPF FanFest

Players from the Herd and the NPF team sign autographs during FanFest.

2013 (Freshman): Posted a 2-3 record and 3.81 ERA in 11 starts and 20 appearances. She threw two complete games and earned one save... Vance got her first strikeout and start in the USF-Demarini Tournament, she struck out two against USF Feb. 8 and made her first start against Samford Feb. 9... Vance earned her first victory March 27 against Wright State University, her first save March 29 against Memphis and set herself a new strikeout record against Northern Kentucky April 10 after retiring eight.

High School: Stared at Chapel Hill High School where she played softball, volleyball and soccer...in the circle during her senior season she struck out 228 batters in 147 innings pitched and 25 games...was first team all-district all three seasons she played softball (was out due to injury her junior season)...also earned the same honors for volleyball and as goalkeeper for the Chapel Hill soccer team.

Personal: Born Jan. 3, 1994 to parents Wesley and Janet Vance...has one sister, Chelsi (26) who attended Baylor...major is education.
