2011 (Junior):
Was a part of 49 games, starting in 26 of them, splitting time between left field, right field, and designated hitter...tied for most stolen bases on the team with 23...had three multiple hit games...recorded multiple stolen bases in three games...tied for third with teammate Morgan Cottrell in stolen bases within C-USA...third in conference in steal attempts (27)... named NFCA Scholar Athlete...named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ...honored with a C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal.

2010 (Sophomore):
Started in 35 games while appearing in 54...led the team in stolen bases for the season, swipping 31 on 32 attempts - good for second in Conference USA...her 31 stolen bases ties for fourth in single-season records at MU...ranked 27th in the nation in stolen bases per game with 0.57...stole a game-high three bases against Wright State on April 14...notched her first career double against ECU on Feb. 19...named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for the third time in her career while also earning Academic Medal accolades...named a 2010 NFCA Scholar Athlete.

2009 (Red Shirt Freshman):
Made 45 appearances with 16 starts in 2009...first hit of the season came against UNLV going 1-for-1...picked up her first RBI against Canisius in the Marshall Softball Tournament...had a multi-hit game against UTEP going 2-for-3 with two runs...finished third on the squad with 17 stolen bases on 20 attempts.

2008 (Freshman):
Played in 16 games with six starts...sat out due to an injury in early March with a torn ACL missing most of the season...used as a pinch game came against Riverside going 2-for-3...scored three runs in first season at Marshall...ended as the season leader in stolen bases with nine.

High School:
Attended high school at Stillwater and played softball for head coach Angela Knott...member of the 2006 all-state earned Academic State Champions in 2005-06...earned a spot on the All-Frontier Conference team in 2004-06...named offensive player of the year 2004-06....hit .380 in during her career with 86 stolen bases...hit .435 during her senior year with six triples and 68 hits...also played varsity track for two years...played in the Colorado Sparkler All-Star game...member of the Lightning and the Ultimate Gold.

Born Jessica Nicole Hughes on July 26, 1989...parents Mike and Wanda brother, Seth (14)...member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society and Student Council...held a perfect 4.0 GPA in high school and was the valedictorian of her class...her parents are her biggest role models...enjoys reading and listening to music...received Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance and currently pursuing Master's Degree in Accounting.
