2016 NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete

2016 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll
GP/GS: 54/51 ... Set career high with .271 average and eight home runs ... Big offensive boost to the Herd in senior year ... collected 34 hits with 12 going for extra bases ... Drove in 33 runs and finished with 98 for her career good for ninth all-time in team history ... Finished career with 21 home runs also ninth all-time in Herd history ... Broke up no-hitter vs. Appalachian State with first home run of the season in the fifth inning (March 4) ... Hit second homer of the day vs. UMES in the night cap (March 4) ... Showed increased patience at the plate collecting a career high 21 walks ... Walked 67 times during career, ninth all-time ... Was walked multiple times in five games ... Drove in two or more runs seven times including three games with three RBI with two in the series vs. UTEP (March 12-13) ... Had four sacrifice flies in 2016 and finished with eight in career, tied for third all-time in team history ... Had career long hitting streak of seven games (March 20-29) ... 2013 (Freshman)
2013 Conference USA All-Freshman Team
GP/GS: 49/38 ... Played short stop and made three appearances in the circle, she also started in three of four postseason appearances ... Escareno ended the season with a .228 average and a .446 slugging percentage ... She had five home runs, ranking third on the team ... Escareno got her first hit against FAU in the USF-Demarini Tournament Feb. 9, her first home run in a 2-for-4 effort with three RBI against Tulsa March 9 and she earned her first appearance in the circle and strikeout against Northern Kentucky April 10 ... She had a perfect game against Southern Miss on March 16, going 2-for-2 with a home run.

High School: Escareno hit .571 while scoring 28 runs and finishing with a .980 fielding percentage for Poudre Impalas High School ... during last season she pitched a perfect game and hit a grand slam in the same contest which saw her school move onto regional play in Colorado ... two-time all-conference first team selection ... previously named Colorado Pitcher of the Year.

Personal: Born June 9, 1994 to parents Cheldon and Tammy Todd ... has two siblings, Treydon (13) and Brennon (8) ... Majoring in Health Sciences.
