2011 (Junior):
Started all 53 games, splitting time at catcher and first base...led team in hits (42), home runs (12), RBI's (31), and total bases (87)...second in slugging percentage (.600), runs (19), doubles (7), walks (19), and on-base percentage (.391)...finished the season with .290 batting average, third best on the squad...led the team in multiple hits games (8), which included two three-hit games, also led Herd in multiple RBI games (9), which included four total against UTEP May 1...finished the year ranked fourth in C-USA in slugging percentage, fifth in home runs, and eighth in total bases...finished the season third all-time in hit-by-pitches (27) and fourth all-time in home runs (23)...during Conference USA play Gamby led Herd in slugging percentage (.694. 2nd C-USA), home runs (7, 2nd C-USA), total bases (43, T-3rd C-USA) RBI's (15, T-5th C-USA), doubles (4, T-9th C-USA), walks (11, T-10th C-USA), on-base percentage (.413, 11th C-USA), and runners thrown out (6, T-2nd C-USA)...selected First Team All-Conference USA...named NFCA Mideast Region Second Team status at catcher...appeared for the third time on the C-USA Commissioners Honor Roll...a member of the C-USA All-Academic Team.

2010 (Sophomore):
Started all 55 games, splitting time at catcher and first base...tied for team lead in doubles (12)...finished with a team-best .419 on-base percentage and 357 putouts...sported a .318 batting average, 48 hits, 11 runs scored and four home runs by season's end...recorded a career-high three hits in MU's 4-3 win against Cleveland State...was walked a career-high three times against UTEP...ranked third in C-USA in hit-by-pitch with 12 and fifth in putouts with 357...tallied 12 multiple hit games and three multiple RBI games...recorded the team's second-longest hitting streak with 11 games dating from Feb. 26 to March 9...named Marshall University's student-athlete of the week on March 2...made her second appearance on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and received Academic Medal accolades...named to the ESPN/CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team at infield and catcher...earned NFCA Mideast Region Second Team status at catcher...named a 2010 NFCA Scholar Athlete.

2009 (Freshman):
Played in 47 games as a true freshman with 42 starts...had time behind the plate at catcher and at first base...picked up her first hit against UIC in Las Vegas for a double...went 2-for-4 against South Florida with three RBI...hit her first home run at home against Canisius going 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI...finished the season tied for the team lead in home runs with seven...hit a walk-off home run against Radford at home in an eight inning 6-5 win...in the series against UTEP batted in six RBI going 4-for-8 with a run...second on the team in slugging percentage at .496...second in RBI with 27...second on the team in HBP at eight...named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team...a member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:
Played for Keith Diebler at Upper Sandusky High School...was a three year letterwinner in volleyball and basketball...injured during senior season...junior year had a .492 batting average with an on based percentage of .550...had 23 RBI, 11 home runs, two triples and 13 doubles...was selected as first team all-league and was crowned MVP all-league...Central District first team member and first team All-Ohio.

Born Rebecca Lee Gamby on Jan. 4, 1990...parents Steve and Pat Gamby...both parents are dairy farmers...her father played minor league baseball for the Detroit Tigers...two siblings, Mike and Kristin...brother played basketball for Capital University...sister played volleyball for Bowling Green...majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology.
