2011 (Sophomore):
Participated in all 53 games for Marshall, starting in 38 of those, splitting time in all three outfield spots...tied for second on the team in stolen bases (21)...tied with teammate Ashley Gue for most runs scored on the year (22)...recorded three stolen bases in a game twice on the year...posted five multiple hit games, including two three hit games...posted career highs in batting average (.267), at-bats (86), runs (22), hits (23), and stolen bases...tied for fifth among the conference in stolen bases, fourth in steal attempts...named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010 (Freshman):
Started in 18 games in the outfield, appearing in 52 contests...led the team in triples with two (T-10th C-USA)...hit her first career home run against Dayton on April 18, for the only in-the-park homer of the season...scored a career-high two runs against Ohio on April 13 and again against Southern Miss on April 25...had five-consecutive hits against Southern Miss (5-for-6)...tallied three multiple hit games and a three game hitting streak...third on the team in stolen bases, stealing 18 on 20 attempts (T-9th C-USA)...in MU single season records she ties for fourth in triples (2)...named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and received Academic Medal accolades.

High School:
Earned first team all-league honors in 2009...named second team all-league in 2008...lettered in cross country her junior and senior years, with all-league honors in 2008...lettered in basketball in 2006 and 2007...was a four-time recepient of the Presidents Award and Honor Roll.

Club Softball:
Played for the Washington Ladyhawks Gold team based out of Puyallup, Wash., for head coach Wayne Miller...in 2009 had an on-base percentage of .500, a .491 slugging percentage and a .409 batting average.

Born Taylor Cherie Thompson on May 15, 1991...daughter of Jodi Newell and David Thompson...has two brothers: Cameron and Wesley; and three sisters: Lexi, Karlee and Erynn...majoring in communication disorders.
