Play for Chicago Bandits begins Wednesday in Hoover, Ala.

Jessica Williams joins twin sister Amanda as a student assistant coach after spending four years as the Herd's starting shortstop. The infielding Williams ended her career in the top five of six different career categories. She was a four-time all-conference selection, including a first team All-Conference USA honor last season as a senior. She was also a three-year captain and earned the team's Softball Leadership Award as a senior.

During her senior season, she and twin sister Amanda were drafted by the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF).

She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology and is expected to graduate in May 2007.
