Marshall Athletics to Feature Live In-Game Chats

Feb. 7, 2012

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – With the opportunity to reach more fans and family members, Marshall athletics will feature live in-game chats for the upcoming seasons of baseball, softball, and tennis.

The chats, which are free to anyone, will be hosted through CoveritLive.com and will be available for all road contests during the baseball and softball seasons as well as home matches for tennis.

Chats, which will start a few minutes before the start of each contest, will allow fans around the world to chat with sports information directors of each sport. Individuals can ask questions and get detailed reports of the happenings on the field and the court.

To access the live chats, go to HerdZone.com and proceed to the specific sport page you desire. In the right hand navigation area, find the link for “Live Chats.” Once the page has loaded you should see a listing of upcoming chats and the ability to either set reminders (if the chat is not live yet), or to ask a question if the live chat is in session.
