Herd Will Face UTEP an Hour Earlier Saturday, Potential Incliment Weather Moves Doubleheader to Noon

March 9, 2007

HUNTINGTON - The Marshall Thundering Herd will open Conference USA play an hour earlier Saturday, as its doubleheader with the UTEP Miners has been moved to a 12 p.m. (ET) start at Dot Hicks Field. The one-hour change was prompted by the possibility of severe weather moving through the Tri-State area Saturday afternoon.

Game two of the doubleheader will tentatively start at 2 p.m. (ET), while Sunday's game time remains at 12 p.m. CSTV GameTracker will be available the entire weekend via www.HerdZone.com. Fans can also listen live on WMUL-FM 88.1 approximately 20 minutes prior to first pitch.
